PS3 CPU Brace - CECH-2000 - 4000 Models

This CPU brace is designed to be inserted beneath the CPU in all PS3 Slim models and early Super Slim models (CECH-2000, 2100, 2500, 3000, and 4000). It is 3D printed with ABS plastic, capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 105 C. This CPU brace will be ready to install with no further modifications necessary. Each individual CPU brace is carefully measured for correct thickness and sanded down if necessary before shipment.

When the system is re-assembled with this CPU brace installed, the CPU may experience better thermal conductivity with the heatsink, resulting in lower operating temperatures. This CPU brace allows for an even distribution of pressure across the entire CPU, making it a safe alternative to the "eraser mod" which adds uneven pressure to the CPU and can warp or permanently damage it.

The CPU brace can be installed to any compatible PS3 that is sent to me for service. If you would like to install this part yourself, the part will be shipped in a package with tracking information available to ensure safe delivery. Please keep in mind that I am not responsible for any damage that may occur to your system due to negligence, if you are not confident in disassembling your PS3 safely then professional help is recommended.

Please keep in mind that this CPU brace is not a solution to poor quality thermal paste. If your system is experiencing overheating issues, then the CPU will require delidding and full thermal paste replacement for proper repair.
