What makes this PS3 special?

The 40nm GPU installed greatly improves this model PS3's reliability, as the most common failure point with these models is the original 90nm GPU, which shipped with a design flaw from the factory. By replacing the original GPU with a newer revision that has been designed and manufactured correctly, you can expect this backwards compatible PS3 to have the same level of reliability as a PS3 slim. In addition, since the newer 40nm GPU is more power efficient, you can also expect this PS3 to consume less energy and operate significantly cooler and quieter.

Both the CPU and GPU original thermal paste replaced with Arctic MX-4. This will allow the PS3 to efficiently expel heat out and run as quietly as it did when it was brand new. In addition, all of the thermal pads have also been replaced which will prevent various other components from overheating.

A new clock battery will ensure that your PS3 will not forget the time and that you'll be able to play your digital PSN content without any issues for many more years to come.

All functionality of this PS3 has been fully tested and confirmed working. This includes Bluray, DVD and CD discs, as well as USB, HDMI, AV, Optical audio, Ethernet, WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Accessories provided with this system will include a power cable and HDMI cable.
